Silversea Cruises’ new flagship will be named Silver Muse and become the ninth ship in the fleet in the spring of 2017. The ultra-luxury ship is being built by Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and will accommodate 596 guests.

The ship will represent an evolution of the Silver Spirit, with all-suite accommodations that will set the standard for luxury on-board comfort and service and quality, Silversea officials said in what was a surprise announcement. They also promise many ground-breaking concepts.

“This ship contributes to our ambitious growth plans that will ensure our continued leadership in ultra-luxury cruising,” said Enzo Visone, Silversea’s CEO. Additional details and specifications on the new ship will be announced in the near future.
