It’s a big deal that will ensure  no one is out of touch on a cruise: All Silversea Cruises guests will get free Wi-Fi, starting with voyages departing in January, 2016. It’s the most comprehensive wireless package offered on any luxury line, and it includes all suites and public spaces on all cruises.

The ships are outfitted with the latest and quickest satellite communication systems. Every guest will be entitled to at least an hour of free Wi-Fi a day and the service will be unlimited for those who book Medallion suites and higher on the ocean ships and a variety of suite categories on Silversea’s expedition ships.

“Because we know how important it is for travellers to stay informed and connected, we’re delighted to enhance the all-inclusive Silversea experience with this new benefit,” said Kristian Anderson, Silversea’s senior vice-president of sales and general manager for the Americas. Silversea already includes many premium wines and spirits, specialty restaurants, butler service and on-board gratuities (exclusive of spa treatments) in the cruise fares.
