Royal Caribbean is taking the concept of butler service to a new level with “Royal Genies.”
Royal Genies are being assigned to guests in a new Royal Suite Class: Star Class Loft Suites or higher categories on Oasis-class ships and Anthem of the Seas. Trained in the skills of a butler, concierge and mixologist, the Royal Genies’ role is to serve as the ultimate insiders, helping craft one-of-a kind experiences based on a guest’s personal style and preferences.
The Genies can arrange customized shore excursions, and when guests return to their suite are on hand to concoct handcrafted cocktails in-suite. The Royal Genies also will assist with making restaurant and show reservations, in-room dining requests, and any other needs – from laundry, pressing and shoe-shining, to luggage handling and unpacking.
The Royal Genie will embody contemporary fashion with her or his own distinct look. Day-time casual dress will feature pants and linen shirts for balmy Caribbean days to a more formal evening look with bold pops of purple and cranberry.
